A documentary about the tortuous path Mozambique is living in the construction of its public health system. Since achieving independence in 1975, Mozambique is a country in constant change. In this context, governments, foundations, NGOs and companies declare noble intentions in order to improve the precarious health situation of the population.

"A Luta Continua" ("The Struggle Continues"), produced by Medicus Mundi Catalunya and Kanaki Films (2014), reviews the achievements, challenges and difficulties in order to build a health system for all in an increasingly unequal country where, sometimes, aid strategies do not always walk in the same direction.

With a running time of 40 minutes, “A Luta Continua” highlights the circumstances and trends, some internal and some external, that have relegated PHC to a mere dialectic resource, far removed from its revolutionary original content.

After the movie: panel discussion with Ivan Zahinos, Medicus Mundi Mediterrania and Francisco Songane former Minister of Health of Mozambique - Followed by an apéro riche.
