Auszeichnung für "Get on IT" in Lesotho an der AIDS 2018

SolidarMed/Swiss TPH - CIPHER Grant für Dr. Alain Amstutz und für das Projekt und die Studie „Get on IT“ (“GETting tOwards Ninety In Teens”) in Lesotho an der Internationalen AIDS-Konferenz 2018 in Amsterdam. Ziel des Projektes ist eine verbesserte Diagnose und Behandlung von HIV positiven Jugendlichen.

Zentrale Elemente sind HIV–Selbsttests, dezentrale Medikamentenversorgung in den Gemeinden, sowie Unterstützung durch Jugendgruppen. Das Projekt wird gemeinsam von SolidarMed, dem Swiss TPH, der Abteilung Biomedizin der Universität Basel und dem Gesundheitsministerium Lesothos durchgeführt.
